GENERAL COURSE INFORMATION

All our courses take place at the workshops of the Cambridge Woodwind Makers. This is part of a new arts complex at Bury Farm, Stapleford, Cambridge, which is being developed by The ACE Foundation.

Bury Farm is situated in a beautiful farm setting 4 miles outside Cambridge with great rail, bus, cycle and road links. Bury Farm expects to be a dynamic environment for musicians, artists and scholars, for further information see: www.acefoundation.org.uk.

Our own workshop consists of a purpose-built professional workshop with adjacent lecture room/workshop all equipped with tools and materials. From here all our courses and hands on experience sessions are run.

We offer courses for a range of audiences from school children to instrument teachers, music students, amateur adults, professional craftspeople and anyone with an interest.

Using the skills of a number of visiting specialists we offer instrument making courses as well as repair and maintenance courses and general taster days.

If there are any courses you would like to do but can't make the date please email us: information@cambridgewoodwindmakers.org.
